Branxholm Park House

As a wedding photographer, I had the incredible privilege of capturing the intimate celebration of a couple deeply in love, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. I hope you enjoy the magic of a small, snow-covered wedding at Branxholm Park House!

The day began with a gentle dusting of snow, transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland. The soft flakes rested on the branches of trees and painted the hills in a serene white, creating a fairy tale ambiance for the intimate gathering.

The ceremony unfolded in a breathtaking greenhouse, adorned with twinkling fairy lights. The intimate gathering of around 15 guests was witness to a heartfelt exchange of vows, the warmth of love melting away the winter chill. As the couple embraced I seized the opportunity to capture their genuine joy against the magical setting.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved indoors to the inviting living room, where a festive Christmas tree stood tall, twinkling with lights and ornaments. The intimate setting created an atmosphere of coziness and togetherness, reminiscent of a cherished family holiday.

The dinner was a feast for both the eyes and the palate, and as plates were cleared, heartfelt speeches resonated through the room. Emotions ran high as family and friends shared anecdotes, laughter, and, of course, love.

As night fell, the celebration transitioned into a lively dance floor. The evening sparkled with joy as the newlyweds shared their first dance, surrounded by the glow of fairy lights and the love of their closest friends and family.

Capturing the essence of a winter wedding in the Scottish Borders was a privilege and a joy. The intimate setting, the snow-covered landscapes, and the warmth of love shared between the couple and their guests created a magical tapestry that will be cherished forever. Branxholm Park House, with its timeless charm, provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was both intimate and grand in its significance. As a wedding photographer, I am grateful to have been a part of the special day, documenting the moments that will be treasured for a lifetime.
