The beautiful Kat & Jamie had the most wonderful wedding day at Borthwick Castle, a landmark that could easily find its place in the Tolkein universe, or an excellent period drama. The atmosphere that surrounds the venue is hard to describe - you feel completely cut off from civilization, a place where you and your loved ones can fully celebrate with no distractions. Historical and dramatic, romantic and exciting, simply the perfect setting for a cinematic wedding film.

We knew immediately when we met Josh we had picked the right person to shoot our wedding (a small wedding with only 14 guests!) - he was personable, warm and made us feel so comfortable.
On our wedding day everyone commented on how lovely Josh was. It wasn’t the best day weather wise but Josh’s photos made the absolute best of the weather and our stunning venue location. The colours popped, the photos were absolutely dreamy! We’d highly recommend Josh to anyone, not only for the stunning photos which so beautifully captured our day, but for how lovely Josh is and how passionate he is about getting all little moments documented. We had a brilliant time with Josh from Folkstorie. He went above and beyond to make my partner and I comfortable, despite us both being rather camera shy. The shoot itself was really fun as Josh is super friendly and a chatty guy- who makes you feel at ease throughout (resulting in excellent and natural looking shots)!
The resulting album that we received was promptly delivered and we were both really pleased with the editing. There is a beautiful tone to the images, which looks better than the location did in real life.
